Travel

This year’s Symposium will be held virtually to avoid travel for our attendees.

Transportation

Getting to Texas A&M from College Station

The closest airport is Easterwood Airport (CLL), which is approximately 2 miles from central campus. Easterwood Airport at College Station is easily reached by about eight flights daily.

From Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport, connect via American Airlines. From Houston Intercontinental Airport, connect via United Airlines.

Many hotels offer a shuttle service from Easterwood Airport. Pickups can also be scheduled with Ground Shuttle service (855.303.4415) from George Bush Intercontinental airport (IAH) or Houston Hobby airport (HOU).

When making your Ground Shuttle reservation, if the time you are trying to reserve is marked as “FULL”, please sign up for the waitlist. Extra shuttles will be added to that pick-up/departure time and you will be notified once seats become available.

Getting to Texas A&M from Houston

Houston has two major airports: George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). Houston is located approximately 95 miles southeast of College Station.

George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IATA: IAH, ICAO: KIAH) is the largest airport in Houston. Located 23 miles north of downtown Houston, Bush Intercontinental is serviced by all major airlines, and is an international airport. It is located between Interstate 45 and interestate 69 / U.S Highway 59, inside the Houston city limits in the Aldine area, and is adjacent to Humble. It is frequently referred to as Houston Airport.
